Perhaps a subgoal of the goal about being grateful for what I have.

suitebliss : Life is so complicated at times.
I work midnights so in my morning routine I can include writing in my gratitude journal. Brush teeth, wash face, lotion up, put Vitamin E on face, floss THEN write in my gratitude journal.

It’s very easy to forget just how much we have to be grateful for. Every little thing counts, every obvious thing counts.
To start with monetary assets, as today finances is more of an issue than it’s been in a long time, if you’ve got money in your pocket and a bank account, no matter how empty, then you’re wealthy. Only 8% of this world’s population have this luxury.
some friends gave me a pretty little book for my birthday… it seemed a fitting place to finally begin my gratitude journal. i’m only a few pages into it, but i’m already loving the practice! its such a great way to focus on the highlights. writing them down helps too because i can go back to reread the happy thoughts anytime. by the time i finish this book, i’ll have a list of 500 things in my life right now for which i am thankful. what a priceless snapshot!
I’ve noticed the more I focus on the positive in life, no matter how small, it makes e feel better about my life and ALSO BRINGS MORE GOOD THINGS INTO IT!
I’m tired of thinking negatively and letting the negative outweigh the positive. I heard about starting a gratitude journal on Oprah where you jot down 5 things that you are grateful for at the end of each day.
She said it made her go through her day and look for things to be grateful for, thereby forcing her to think positive most of the day.
I’m dedicated to starting a journal and listing 5 things I am grateful for that happened to me that day.
