Learn how to make latex clothing

Hi, i want to start doing things, i,ve bought the clothe and start doing simple things but i want to make flowns? i dont know how to say it in english

Im a designer and looking to make fetish latex clothing….. any help….

so, for Halloween i’m doing a saucy version of the Powerpuff Girls. i am an experienced costume designer but i’ve never done anything with latex, and i really think that’s the material i need to use to pull off these costumes. i realize it will take time to perfect, which is why i’m starting to learn now. any advice, books, anything would be greatly appreciated.

But i’ll continue to try to eventually make a nice garment.

A while back I ordered that how to make latex clothes book and it’s a good start for learning how to glue and stuff. rubberist.net has good free tutorials about how to make the stuff too.

I’ve made a skirt and a top based off of patterns I bought at the local Fabricland. Making the needed modifications weren’t a problem for the skirt, but the pattern for the top I bought was way off and it took a while to get the shirt right. I’d highly suggest starting off with a design which is simple, like an A-line skirt or something, then work your way up.

Ok, I’ve ordered the aforementioned book about a week ago on amazon and it should be here soon. Unfortunately I ordered an additional book from amazon and had them grouped to save on shipping and that second book first has to be shipped from a warehouse to amazon and then to me so it’ll be a while longer before I receive it. Blah.
