A country a year yes? then retire in Japan? yes! Japan would also be my first choice, then on to other parts of Asia, Europe, ahhhh, I’m getting excited just thinking about it!
i’ve done this !
4 years in germany, 6 months in Istanbul, 1 year in luxemburg, a few months in france, a few weeks in sao paulo, in detroit, in johannesburg and dubai.
and you know what, people are not that different anywhere. A little bit of happiness, a little bit of certainty, a little bit of hope. More does one not need.
happy back in brussels for now, but will retire either the canary islands or Cape town. Let’s first see what happens when Mr Mandela departs.
i want to live in north india and a european country (either france, switzerland or the united kingdom, not sure yet)...all within the space of a year, while doing the work i love most.
I want to live overseas for a year, maybe italy where i have family or england where family resides as well
I would pretty much live anywhere for a year! Top places I would like to live: Spain, France, Japan, Peru, Mexico, Australia, Brazil… the list goes on!
So far I’ve only stayed:
two months in Cuernavaca, Mexico
two months in Valladolid Spain
one month in San Jose Costa Rica
One day I’ll make it a whole year!
