my feet will never be warm again 3 years ago

    We did it!

We spent the night sleeping on the sidewalk in front of Best Buy. And now we have nice new Xbox 360s. Soon someone else will have nice new Xbox 360s. And we will have nice wads of cash.

It was actually really fun. The experience itself was hilarious. I mean, I was one of those people. We lined up at 4:00 in the afternoon prepared to spend 16 hours in the cold waiting for the store to open the next morning. Matt, the Eagle Scout that he is, broke out the portable stove and the wok and stir-fried us some tofu and veggies right there on the sidewalk. All the dads who were there waiting to buy an Xbox for their son looked at him wistfully. “Oh what a per-fect boy,” their eyes said. We only had one heckler, an awful lady in a Hummer who blew an air horn at us. I don’t think she intended to be hilarious.

Anyhow, with the money I make off ebay from this little venture I will be one step closer to getting the CAMERA OF MY DREAMS!

    Hooray!

So the camera I have now is awful. Terrible. It fell of my bed (a height of two feet) onto the CARPETED floor and the screen broke. It has a battery life of approxamtely 10 minutes. It will not focus. The flash is always too bright. Hey, HP? Hello? Hello? YOU MAKE TERRIBLE CAMERAS I’LL KILL YOU!

I did have a wonderful camera, but it was stolen when I was in Africa. But today we were at the Mac store and I saw the most GLORIOUS camera. It was big and expensive and sturdy. I must have it. Sadly, I have no money. But I do have a scheme.

    Listen up:

This weekend Matt and I are going to camp out overnight at Best Buy and snag two of the new Xbox 360 systems that’ll be shipping in for the next day. Then we are going to sell them on ebay. We’ll both make a $600 dollar profit if all goes well.

    ka-ching!
