go to burning man

and heat. i don’t do well in heat or sun. oh well. at least I can watch from afar thanks to current tv.

I am officially going to burning man this year! I found a group of friends to go with and a ticket. :)

It’s home for me. Have a look at my ride!

Ever since I first learned about Burning Man in December 2006 I have been DYING to go. I have resolved to go in 2009 and I WILL DO IT!!! I need travel companion[s] though, and I have been saving up so it will be feasible [hopefully].

After Flipside this year, my resolve to attend Burning Man is even stronger. It will not, however, be this year. Between my car dying and trying to get back to school, there’s just no money and time. But next year, several of my friends are considering going, so the timing might work out better then anyways.

I’m going to attempt to write an entry for each goal. This is something my friends (Anna and Flannery) and I would like to do.

And…I’m going. Got a scholarship ticket and I think I have people to stay with and people to make art with…now just to figure out how to get there!

Well, it looks like I won’t be able to make it to Burning Man this year. I will be going through training for my job that is mandatory…Oh well…there’s always next year. But, right not I think I’m going to give this goal up. :(

Ever since I learned about Burning Man I have wanted to go, yet every year I come up with some excuse not to—I don’t have the time, the money etc. I know a big part of it is that I worry about the weather extremes, but I couldn’t stand if I didn’t go because I am worried about a little heat. I NEED TO GO!!
