How to be an expat

"eye opening"
How I did it: Well, my dad's company sent us over seas on a 2 year visa. It took me less than a minute to become an expat. Just step off the plane, but I got to be an expat for 2 years and I loved it. I got to experience living away from my culture and kind of getting an inside scoop of how the world really is. I went to school at an American International School in an arab country. Now that I'm back in Texas, I really wish I hadn't left.
