I’ve had the idea bouncing around in my head for a while now, and am finally certain it’d look cool on me. My only hurdle at the moment is whether or not my boyfriend thinks it’s cool. His opinion isn’t what i’m depending on, really, but I prefer his acceptance at this point. 3 months ago

its taken me 2 years to get up enough courage to finely do this! I had gone in 2 other pierceing places then chickening out & knew if I didn’t go through with it this time I never would. yes it hurt but not for long, just seconds & the pain after wasn’t half as bad as I expected & was far outweigh by the sheer joy of having done it!! ive had great fun in buying blingy bars/rings to match my belly one I had done aged 40! im now 53 & grandmother who wont conform! if I can do it YOU CAN!!! 10 months ago
How I did it: I had been thinking about this for a really long time, and yesterday I finally got my nipples pierced! I have to admit that it did hurt when the needle went through, but that’s just a matter of seconds and the pain wasn’t nearly as bad as I had expected. Afterwards my nipples were sore for a couple of hours, but now they’re fine and I can’t stop looking at them. It was definitely worth it:) Read how I did it… 15 months ago
How I did it: When I decided I wanted to get my nipples pierced I wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. I started by researching about them on sites such as BME so I would know the lifestyle changes I would have to make in order to take proper care of them, be aware of the risks involved and the complications that might arise because of them, understand how the piercing procedure for them typically goes, and what to expect when they're healing.
After researching all of this and reading the experiences of other people who had their nipples pierced, I used the Association of Professional Piercers as a guide to decide who would pierce my nipples.
I found Adam at Psycho City Tattoo and was impressed by how personable he was and how clean Psycho City was. He answered all of my questions about how they sterilize their equipment, what initial jewelry I should use, and made me feel at ease about the entire procedure.
Five days later, Adam pierced me. He used alcohol soaked pads to clean the area, marked me up, and clamped me. If I wasn't nervous before, I was now. He told me to take a deep breath in and exhale... Once more... On the second exhale I felt the needle pass through my nipple and I felt myself cringe. I didn't curse, I didn't cry, and to my surprise the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I looked down at my chest and all I could do was state the obvious, "There's a needle through my nipple..." I put my head back down, closed my eyes, and braced myself for the other one. Inhale... Exhale... Inhale... Exh--... The second definitely had more of a bite to it than the first one, but it still wasn't that bad.
Adam let me lay there for awhile and got me a glass of water before going over aftercare. Before I left he told me to come back in about 2 or 3 weeks so he could check on how they were healing and sent me off with a little handout about how to take care of them.
I left with a grin, a feeling of mischief about having these piercings as my own little secret, and a new found confidence in my little A-cup boobies. Read how I did it… 3 years ago
How I did it: I only had two piercings prior to my nipples (cartilage and lobe on both ears). As you can see, I am not experienced in pain that derives from piercings.
I wanted one friend to come with me for moral support, so I told my best friend about it. Then, she decided she wanted to get it done as well. Last night, we (my best friend, her fiance, and I) went to Triple 7 in Chattanooga, TN.
Since she wanted to go first, I got to watch. She did not flinch at all. She held her fiance's hand the entire time for moral support. Take these variables into consideration:
- She is 21-years-old, has had a baby, and her boobs are size Fs.
- The needle was a 14g.
- She got them both pierced one at a time.
- There was a male apprentice watching and helping out with the piercing. Some people would find this awkward.
Then, it was my turn. I took my top and bra off, laid down, they marked my nipples, and then they put the clamps on. Now, when they mark your nipples, they try to make your boobs look as even as possible. So, the piercing my not be in the exact same place on the other nipple, but it's not noticeable.
The first piercing didn't hurt at all. The endorphins were pumping and I had taken 4 ibuprofens 2 hours before the piercing. The second piercing did, because I knew what to expect. However, it still wasn't excruciating pain. My friend said her bellybutton piercing hurt worse.
One nipple bled a lot. It bled through the papertowel/tape and through my shirt. I did not put my bra back on afterward, you can, but it may be uncomfortable.
I am 18, size D, and I would do this again. The pain was not that bad. They look great and I'm very happy with my decision. Read how I did it… 4 years ago
How I did it: i've always wanted to do it so decided that i would as a thirtieth birthday present to myself. i heard good things about a shop in town and took the girl i was dating at the time because she has had a lot of piercings done and i trusted her to to help me through the process. after i talked to the piercers and decided on size and jewelry style, the girl i went with held my hand and i just went for it! 45FeetThey made me more confident in my warped-ass cleavage. I like the look of them and they're my first piercings!
Also considering the past year, as much as it hurt… it wasn’t all that bad. Didn’t even flinch, which I’m kinda proud of ;) 2 years ago
