Ive hated clowns for as long as i can remember – I forget that im nearly 24 and regress to a child when clowns are involved, i get the kind of fear you have as a small child, needing the toilet but not wanting to jump out of bed lest something under the bed get you.

Ive never actually looked at a clown and thought “hey, theres a funny guy, he makes me laugh” I dont think the words funny or laughter should ever be associated with clowns.

They honest to god petrify me.

I think a big part of it is the mask of make-up they wear; i mean anyone could be hiding under that. They are also real. Its not like being scared of Freddie or some other make believe monster. Clowns do actualy exist (ok maybe not ones like Pennywise)
