and I’ve gotten into the habit of this. It helps to have the hands to type, that is for sure, but I’ve just had an all around easier time writing.
I know from past experience how happy I was to have wrote down my days adventures, thoughts, or other various things and been able to look back on it. All of it – the good, the bad and the ugly.
Sometimes I’ll still pull down one of my old notebooks and read, so I know in the future how pleased I will be to have started back into this.
Now I just have to keep it up. (:

I actually hate the entire feel of livejournal… People on there tend towards the hateful, rude, creepy aspect and I have exactly two “friends” on there, one being my husband and another being a girl I know.
So no one much reads my “journal” but I find it comes in handy for other things. Lists, test results, recipes, cute or touching stories, jokes, the odd meme, stuff like that. I love my “memories”, too. I’ve got over 110 at the moment, I think!
But I really do need to update it more, with stuff that is going on in my life. I think once a week is manageable, give or take. Right now Gabriel is beside of me pointing at the monitor and I’m fighting him off the keyboard… so it makes it hard!
In the beginning it was every day or at least a few times a week. Now I post every few months with a “sorry I haven’t posted” and a blurb about anything major that’s happened. Every day seems a bit much to force myself to do, but once a week seems reasonable. Not that anyone reads it anymore…but it’s nice to keep for myself.
LJ is a procrastination site, yet I procrastinate doing anything on it. Lame, right?
