make a difference through volunteering

...of my classmates’ (and my) work that i organized is currently on display in my school’s visual arts building. this saturday night the photos will be auctioned at a red cross benefit.

i think this is the first big, real (as opposed to something just for school) project i’ve taken on and i’m proud of all the stuff i did for it— writing to my class to get people to submit photos, picking ones to include, researching copyright laws and creating forms from that research, going to lots of thrift stores and getting frames, cleaning up the frames (including painting six of them), making the prints, framing the pictures, and hanging them up.

today i was a blood drop. give blood, save lives!
