So my senior year in college, my roommate and I got this crazy idea to fill our entire top shelf of our cupboards (both sides) with cereal. We went from having about 8 boxes of cereal to having 54 boxes of cereal at one time. We arranged them according to color and could not have more than one of the same box. When one became empty, a new one would take its place. We also would have a cereal of the week, which we alternated in picking. When I moved out, he later invited me back, with about 7or 8 friends for a cereal party, and at that time he had expanded to 64 boxes of cereal. He tried to give as much of it away as possible, but you could imagine how much cereal he still had. We would do theme weeks, where we would just eat all the Chex brand products, or all the Cheerios brand products. And we also kept track every day which cereal we had for breakfast and couldn’t have the same kind twice, for 3 months we did this! If we had known of Cereality then, I’m sure we would’ve skipped a day or two of classes to go check it out, kicking ourselves for not thinking of the idea of having a cereal cafe before! (Actually, we did think of it, but never acted, DOH!)
I had NO idea there was such a place—I LOVE CEREAL!! Philadelphia’s not too far away, when I go to the IMAX theater, maybe I’ll stop by.
