jump on a trampoline

I’m always happy to see a goal complete, especially when it’s a goal that I’ve had on my list for a long while. I went to a party last night, and there I found a trampoline to fulfill my goal with. It was one of those little round ones that you’d use while watching aerobics on tv, but it did the job nicely :)

I always wanted to jump on a trampoline. When It was spring break my mother and I went to the science center. Luckly there was experiment with a trampoline. ” How high can you jump?” I tried it out, and jumped on a trampoline. I recall it was a red one. When I got on it, I just couldn’t get off. I tried doing some stunts but the science center ” guy” told me to get off. FUN!

...that my health club had one, and I was thinking in my dream, wow, it’s been right here all along!

Now I’m awake, and I know that it’s not true. Our health club doesn’t have one.

Funny thing about my dream: I didn’t jump on it. I was asking someone, what’s the deal, how do you get to use it? And then that was it.

This was one of the most enjoyable things to do in phys ed at school. But it seems like the trampoline was set up only a few times a year.

And then during college there was this rich friend of mine whose aunt had one at her house. I was there once and we had a blast on the trampoline. That memory is severely imprinted on my brain.

in the last couple of weeks, but didn’t get a chance to have a go. Sounds like such a basic goal, but I’ve been busting to get on the tramp for ages, and haven’t had a proper opportunity for (it feels like) years!
Buying a mini tramp to go in my room isn’t out of the question, but at the moment I want to get on one of those large ones and jump high. If I get the opportunity to get on a jumping castle I’ll also consider this goal satisfied. Oh I hope it happens soon!

It’s great! Later if I have my own place, with a yard and everything big enough I wanna get one of my own. :]

I remember doing this in Italy when I was a little kid.

I remember breaking my favourite pink sandals on it too!

Go out and do this. Sometimes you jujst need to go crazy

My cousin had a trampoline in her backyard that I highly coveted when I was a kid. I loved going over to her house to visit because it meant that I got to jump on the thing. I delighted in the sensation of temporarily “escaping” gravity.

In the summer we’d put a a sprinkler underneath the trampoline and try not to go flying off the wet, slippery surface. It was also a great venue for sleepovers and for staring up at the stars.

These days my brain tends to slosh around too much when I jump on them and I get terrible headaches. :P But I’ll always cherish those happy, carefree memories.

Feels like i’m flying. I enjoy it.
