Where do I get the books to start? Do I start with a store or with a garage (with boxes) full of books? How do you develop a business plan? Dreaming???

... this is directly in contradiction of Have a library in my house – I’d imagined that I’d sell my old books, but would I, really? Probably not. I’d just keep ‘em. And I probably wouldn’t have the business mettle to run a bookstore-business by myself.
(Of course, I might re-open this if I read through The Shadow of the Wind one more time … :-P).
I’ve luuuuuuuved books all my life. From 2002-2006, I was the book disposition specialist for a small village’s public library. My title was Book Maven, and I raised thousands of dollars running the secondhand book sales. By the time I retire from Social Entrepreneurism, which should be by age 80, I want to be running my own secondhand bookshop & discussion salon, and do that until I die.
Hmmm … competitor or coeval? Or something much more complicated? And why is it that somebody always scoops me? Ah, well, it’s just a pattern of my life, innit. And that’s fine too. But I’m still shivering with frustration here … :(
It’ll probably start off looking something like this.
My second-hand bookstore will be something like this one (just check out the user reviews! This is exactly the kind of place I love!). Here is a some advice I will use to make this happen.
