find something positive about people who annoy me

Since it’s been a long time since I’ve become homicidal over someone’s annoying behavior.

He actually seems like a pretty nice guy. I’ve definitely mellowed out about him. However, some contractors who were working on our apartments told me that she’s a holy terror, so the more difficult half is yet to come!

Their tolerance for noise: zero. Their sex at all hours: LOUD. Their cars: parked where they’re not supposed to be, making my entry and exit from my spot more perilous. Basically, they’re snotty yuppies who think that everything and everyone should be bent to their will. But, having nearly neutralized the guy in the office with my happy thoughts, they are the next challenge.

So there’s this guy I don’t really know, except by the sound of his very loud voice, which he loooooves to hear, booming throughout the cubicle farm. I am trying so, so hard not to hate. And not to stab myself in the eye with a pencil. Then we’ll move on to people in restaurants, lines, etc.

I am trying to be a good person.
