CatherineABC Happy New Year!
I think I’m conscious about this now. It will be an ongoing effort, but if I find myself falling back, I’ll post the goal again to get back on track.

OK, this is really hard. But I’m doing ok overall and I only have a little dry skin on one side of one thumb that I’ve stopped picking at. If I can keep it up for another couple of weeks, maybe I’ll have taught myself not to do it. It’s mostly a matter of becoming aware of when I’m doing it.

I can’t remember the last time my cuticles looked this nice!
They’re still pretty dry and scraggly, but no longer looking like ground meat, so I think it will still be a few more weeks until this is done done, but I’m happy with my progress.

...but one of my stress releases is to pick at my cuticles. Especially during meetings. My hands get really torn up because I wear gloves all day at work, then working outside in all kinds of weather with the horses. In particular my cuticles get really dry and snaggly. I’d really love to have smooth, pretty hands. I’ll have to do this on my own though…no $$$ for manicures.
