Kcioxa finally fully moved!
Why reward and not present? Because this is my reward for quitting smoking. Can’t wait!
How I did it: I researched first. The I found a piercer who I thought was able to pierce me the way that I wanted. That is with surface bars.
A week later we measured me, figured out what I wanted, discussed the risks and ordered custom jewelry. It took a long time for the jewelry to get here, so it was a lot of waiting.
Finally, on the day of the piercing it took a little over an hour of measuring to make sure everything was symmetrical and then another hour of actual piercing, which wasn't dreadfully painful. More uncomfortable than anything else.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you go to a reputable, clean and knowledgeable piercer!
Also know what is possible and what is not when it comes to your skin. Expect to be sore and unable to bend over or turn for a few months.
Expect scars!!
I had mine in for a year and 8 months before it became too much work to take care of. When I took out the surface piercings, I had 2 neat rows of little dot scars along both sides of my back where the entry holes of the piercings used to be.
I love them and think they look great, but you might not be so enthusiastic about the post-scarring. So think about the long term as well.
Resources: I found www.bmezine.com to be very helpful for information.
The H2Ocean spray was amazingly wonderful and very hot sea salt soaks were great too.
Sleeping on your stomach for the first 4 months can also be beneficial.

Just about to go get it done in like an hour! i cant wait! i think i have found a way to make it more permenant! if u use dermal anchors and just leave the discs on the anchors for a couple of months until the skin heals and then get rings for the top! i really hope it works!

I’m cheap, I’m not going to pay for it.
Plus I decided to get it tattooed up my sides instead.
What a fucking rush! As he did more (8 in total) it began to hurt a little bit more. But it looked so beautiful all laced up!
Everyone was staring at my formal, heh. I highly recommend it as a temporary bit of fun.
didn’t hurt as bad as everyone said.
however, the rings didn’t quite heal as well as i would have liked.
always try and get tygon piercings. if your piercer doesn’t know what tygon is….don’t use him/her!
don’t settle for less with corset piercings. they’re a big under taking.
i go in on the 1st or 2ed of febuary to get this piercing started we are starting by doing 2 at a time every 2-3 mo tell there are 4 down on my back. it will take almost a yr to get it done compleatly because i want it to be a permanent piercing and the research ive done on it say it is not a permanent piercing it is a temperary piercing that with special care and placement and jewelry can be permanent.
i had my corset done in late feb. of 07,8 bars 16 rings in all down my right side.it hurt, alot but was certainly worth it.the aftercare was tedious, but also worth it.my corset was doing extreamly well until a friend grabbed me at a gwar concert and swung me around, ripping 3 of the piercings.after that they all began rejecting.after discussing it with my piercer, were going to wait a year for my side to fully heal, and do 6 on each side because one of the reasons it rejected so easily,we think,is that i got all 8 bars done at once.i dont recomend this to anyone whos inexperienced with body mods.
yummynekogurl finished her photo shoot and is feeling sassy.
I’ve had mine for over 8 months now. It has been featured on ModBlog and BodyMod.org.
It was done with 8 surface bars and flatback beads. However in the photograph I have on slave rings for the ribbon. It was a long and trialling healing period, but I managed to pull it off with help from others. =) I’m very very proud of it and I plan to keep it for as long as possible.
