I actually really enjoy cooking :D But not the stuff I have to cook everyday for dinner (I’m indian..so chappattis, curry etc) but pastas, chicken and especially sweet stuff like orange and hazelnut fairy cakes, galaxy cookies, diff flavoured muffins!
I’m going to make an effort to make time to cook something new every week and post the recipe on here…Also i want to be able to remeber recipes and keep making things until i can perfect them instead of one hit wonders!

lovingmex43 is going to have a wicked 2010
What a great movie, defiitely one to own.
It made me realize that I have all of these cookbooks, a couple even from the Cordon Blue and rarely ever use them. I bought them because thye had so many tantalizing recipes, food is a passion of mine but rarely savor it the way I like to. I always wait until I am in a nice restaurant to truly enjoy good cooking and good food. (Sometimes, it is not all good.) But I get such a pleasure form cooking, it is a creative way to express oneself and the end result is such a rewarding way to celebrate.
I would like to cook a new recipe each week. I hardly ever cook anymore. All of my girls are in and out so much so there really is nobody to cook for. Gary was not interested in the food I wanted to make. I guess I will cook for me and invite a friend over or eat alone.
Tonight I made my first bowl of steamed clams, one of my favorite foods on Earth. I definitely wanted them to have more broth for the ceremonious dunking of my bread, but they were still pretty good. I’m going in search of a different recipe and I’m going to try again. Clams are on sale. Next, I want to make French onion soup.
