I have said before that I want to find my passion; now I realize it is not lost and it is not outside of me. I just need to uncover it under the layers of attitudes like “I don’t want to seem like a big nerd” “what if others don’t agree about the rightness of my passion” “what if I am not good at it”. None of that insecurity matters when we should all just build our castles way up in the sky, then build the foundations under it (Thoreau said it more prettily).

To Calm My Unquieted Mind! is making dreams a reality - one small step at a time!
... all roads seem to lead to Afrika! All my goals, dreams, visions, aspirations, hopes, even (unfortunately) fears – all of them – MY PASSION, for my whole life has been Afrika. She is the motherland the passion that drives me onward in my struggle for freedom = Uhuru!
My education, my travel, my therapy – all of it is contributory to this dream… to live & work in Afrika. Which country I have not yet decided – part of my travels will be (that will be one of my goals) to travel the continent slowly to get to know the people, culture, the needs firsthand… then to decide where my passion leads me…
I have finally figured out that I need to teach – education will be the key to Afrika’s survival – to her renewal! So my educational goal is geared towards a degree in education with a TEFL certification.
Maybe one day I’ll even work in South Afrika in Oprah’s girls’ leadership academy? Who know?
