stop and make people EVEN MORE AWARE of child abuse

we were sitting at the red light. The man in front of us was on his bike, and on the back of his leather vest it said: “Bikers against child abuse.” I can’t even describe the feeling that shot through me. It really warmed my heart, and it made me really emotional. Only those who’s been through it would fully understand and appreciate such gesture. The light turned green and off he went on his Harley. Thank you.

Slowly but surely this goal is expanding. Thank you, guys!

Can you imagine how many more are out there that never get caught?

HOWEVER, MOST of it done not by a stranger, but by the family friend or relative. It’s good to educate your children about strangers, it’s more important to educate them about their bodies and their rights. Innocence should be protected.

I finally understand why seeing/being around small children bothers me. When I was a child, no other child (except for one) that I knew could relate to what I’ve been through. I don’t know if she made it. In a way, I hope that she did. In another way, I witnessed how she died (or perhaps just passed out from the pain). This issue gets deep, too deep in fact. I’m terrified of becoming the kind of parent that I’ve always resented to become. We say that we would never do something like that, but guess what, we screw up. I just don’t want to be that screwed up to my children. I want to give them what they deserve and more without raising bums and kiss ups. I know this sounds harsh but…you don’t know where I’m coming from…the truth that was based on lies…the promises that were based on nothing…too much…too many times…

how much stuff is out about child abuse…books, support groups, websites, and so on…and yet, so many children are being abused day after day. I’m not talking just about physical, I’m talking about mental, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse or all of them together. All of those who survive aren’t just survivors, they’re heroes in my eyes. It’s not about strangers, people! Those who rape (about 99.9%) are friends or relatives or both. Will people ever wake up and smell the roses? I’m not talking about one country in particular, it’s everywhere. However, here in U.S., we have more chance to turn this thing around than anywhere else. Please, don’t comment if you don’t like my mentioning of U.S. I’m a strong believer in certaing things and this is one of them. This is my opinion and my beleive.
