I just started running a couple of weeks ago and already I’ve gone from exhausted in the first 50 yards to a 3 mile run. I used Google Maps and charted a 3 mile course that I’m going to try and run this evening after work. I’m actually looking forward to running.

Well, I have participated in mini marathon’s before, but I walked some of the time and I didn’t finish in a time I was happy about. One of them was about 7km and the other one 5km.
This time I want to run the “mini maratona de Portugal”, that’s about 8Km. The only problem is that I have a serious injury in my right knee and I’ll probably nedd surgery… But still, I have been training and I hope to acomplish what I want: run the entire 8Km and finish it in less than 1 hour!

Well, I guess I technically didn’t run the whole thing, but I’m going to include it as done, because I did a lot of training, and I think I did well. Yay!
This is a short term goal, as the mini marathon is on the 2nd of June, and it’s 10k. I don’t have much time left to train for it, but this is just here to remind myself that I want to run the whole thing without stopping to walk! It doesn’t matter how long it takes me as long as I don’t stop.
the sydney marathon is $100, which seems really steep. I think I will just try to go for the Lake Macquarie half marathon, which is 21 km, and on August the 27th with an entry deadline of the 18th. Since it is already August 1st and I only run 10 km casually, I need to step it up.
i tried to get to the gym today but they wouldn’t let me in cause i was under 18 and i didn’t have an adult. How stupid! I still have the rest of the week to train but i was majorlly PISSED !
