I used to go to classes when I lived in the US, but have been living in Latin America. There’s yoga classes here, but they’re always far from my house, or expensive, and never the ashtanga classes that I want.

for a weekly yoga course and I’m very much looking forward to it. It will start on the 26th of this month, so I guess I can consider this done now. :)
It’s so good for me, why not keep at it? I guess I have some sort of hubris because I’m still very flexible. It’s a stupid excuse for not going back.
So I finally signed up again last week. My next class is on Tuesday, and thank goodness, because after being so out of shape for the first lesson, my body’s been complaining all week haha. I will say, though, this is something I’ve been needing to do, and I’m glad I finally got back into it.
I was taking yoga last winter, to help manage my nasty stress levels, and it was doing the trick. I finished 2 six-week sessions, but when it came time to take a family trip to the caribbean I left for two weeks, and never signed up for yoga again. I really should get on that.

And I have become way less flexible than I was 5 months ago but I’ll be getting there again, I hope.
