speak with a British accent for 24 hours

i want to do it because i want to be unique. i want to spek with different accents to impress my teachers

I wanna learn British accent too

i wish to learn through communication

i just want to improve my english skills and wanna learn the British accent

Actually, i like to speak with some sort of accent which is a sort of British/Austrailian/South African/Swedish thing that is so annoying it causes people in my family to try and hit me until I stop doing it. When speaking with Some Sort Of Accent, it is imparitive to say “pip, pip” and “toodloo” and any other words you remember from movies you saw in the 80s about foreigners.

I worked at a seasonal calendar store and I was bored so I started talking in a British accent – I got 2 guy’s phone numbers!! haha! It was hilarious. I want to do it for 24 hours straight now!!

My BFF lives in Lincoln and so I have pretty good resources.

I’m willing to learn the accent, but I don’t know why I find it a bit hard even though I’ve been to UK for many times.

some advice for American actors wanting to learn a British accent;

1. not all english people are cockneys & posh people
2. not all scottish people say ‘och aye’
3. the irish DO NOT say ‘top of the mornin to ye’ (unless theyre being ironic)
