vote in a legitimate election

I became an American in April and a few days ago, I voted in my state’s primary elections. Can’t even begin to express how priviledged and proud I felt. Democracy and freedom! Good stuff.

I was never into politics much before I moved to DC, but I think I’ve voted in every election since I moved here, including the 2004 presidential election.

Long story, not a very happy one, but this incredible opportunity will soon be within my reach.
