Isn’t the castle theme fun?

The mountain behind my house has countless shrines around it. This one is around the other side, just a 5 or 10 minute hike up.

This was taken about a month ago – prime Cherry Blossom viewing time.

This statue is in the city central park, about a half hour bike ride away.

All of the agricultural plots in my neighbourhood are currently filled with water as people are planting rice. Today the sky was absolutely beautiful.

Is about 25 minutes drive from where I live. It’s in a nice little village called Ribchester. It’s a nice little place to eat or have a drink and I’ve been there a few times, in fact I went twice this weekend.

The “cheap” gas station on my way to work yesterday; prices, of course, went up by the time I went home. (As a general rule, most other local stations are about $0.05-0.10/gal higher than this one.)
