The truth is, what you think is most important in an adution really isn’t. In NM where i made all state last year as a freshman, 20% of your overall aduiton is just confidence and breath support. Those are easy points that you can get by just being confident and relax! 2 years ago

I doubt it’ll happen this year, since I’m a sophomore. It might not even happen my junior year. But DANGIT, IT WILL HAPPEN. D<

My chances are slim, though. The girl in my band who’s so good that she went to China with her invitation-only youth symphony didn’t even make it. So… we’ll see. :/ 4 years ago

All-Region Tryout day: Would you believe my alarm clock prevented me from getting to try out at all? Checked it 3 times before I went to bed, but I woke up late and came late to my tryout. I was 7th in line.. lucky number alright!

2nd band 2nd chair AR All-region band – and I still enjoyed the Clinic. Fun with a couple challenging pieces. :)

I’ve recorded myself playing the pieces.. and I’ve realized how much work that needs to be done!
I’m planning on practicing an hour to two hours a day for the next several weeks to catch myself up.
I also set up a lesson with my old flute teacher for when I visit Texas for New Years. Hope she’s hard on me! It’ll be for the better. =T 5 years ago
