make some sort of gift I can give to my subscribers

My shipment has not gone out yet. But I have not abandoned this. Will attempt to finish packages and ship today. :)

Be sure to include your mailing address, because these are going to be tangible gifts, not electronic ether-nothings. I know what I’m doing, but the scale to which I’m creating the gift really depends on how many I have to make.

I didn’t realize the thought of receiving a DVD could be so offensive…I’ve lost two subscribers in the past day. Hmph! :P

I think this is a very cool idea. I am trying to think of something I can give to my dear subscribers…something that is both “me” and universally appealing enough that everyone will at least kinda like it. Maybe I should just shoot for “like it enough to not let their dog rip it to shreds.”

I’ll keep thinking about this one…I’d like to figure it out by the end of January. I <3 my subscribers, whoever you are! :D

I’ve made up the gifts, and sent out the last one to my few ‘brave subscribers.’

A strange and interesting little chance offering sent into the wild to see if anybody likes it. Fun and silly, little gift.

I had a good time doing it, and I hope everybody else who participated with me both receives the gifts (I didn’t include a return address so I may never know), and that they like them.

I’ve taken down the information submission page, as anybody who was going to use it probably already has, for a total of Five Brave Subscribers!

I have one more niblet to put together tonight, and then mail tomorrow. Those sent last Friday should start arriving tomorrow, and on into the week. We shall see if everybody thinks it was worth all this hooplah I’ve built up about it.

Either way, almost done!

I sent out the gifts today…only 4 of my now 15 subscribers participating in my ‘Show The Love’ gift idea.

Which is fine, don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to spend the next forever making these little dealies, as some people I know have over 40 subscribers, so it could happen.

But the first batch is gone, and I’ll probably leave the page up for submissions of info through Sunday night, if anybody is still interested in the niblet of appreciation I’ve designed to reciprocate.

Then maybe I’ll do it all again after the holidays with another one of my little ideas…

I’m cooking up something fun to send to you that celebrates how nice you are to read my ramblings here consitently. The small gift(s) isn’t done yet, but the online form you can use to submit your info to me is ready! Actual submissions at this point would probably go far to prod me to get a move on the two or three little ideas I have and maybe get them to people by Christmas.

Now, I understand this is The Internet. It is a scary place. So you obviously don’t have to submit your info. (I wouldn’t know who to sell it to anyway. And I don’t have the money for gas to come calling at your door.) This is meant to be FUN, and maybe little silly. A tiny something to work against the bunching of the underwear in our daily lives.
