So for the past semester I scheduled classes so that they were either online or didn’t start until six pm. I’m also basically been unemployed and when I did have a job it never started before six. Consequently I basically am never awake before noon. Usually not much before one at that. I also don’t usually go to bed until two in the morning. SO usually I get this amount of sleep, often times even more than this. I probably get ten hours or more at least three times a week. But somehow with this lazy lifestyle I still manage to be tired A LOT! I’m also going to get a job very soon. (I’d certainly hope) SO I don’t want the number going back down to some five hours a night. I also kind of want to move it to a more normal time of day and see if maybe that helps me be any less tired all the time.

I feel great! I’ve done this now for 4 days. I don’t remember the last time I was this refreshed. This is something I definitely have to keep doing!
maren001 is being lazy because it's about to get crazy when school starts
if only I could just be tired at 10 instead of wide awake. If only I could get up in the morning…I do like being up early…I just really hate getting up. I’m getting better about getting up early…..just with that would translate into me wanting to be asleep sooner!!
sunshinesol78 is playing hookie from class tonight!
this is going to be the first night i try to make a routine of this… going to read my book and fall out… hopefully!
Cheryl so glad that God is watching over me
Getting to bed before midnight is my problem…
exercise and eating healthy helps me stay regular.
it’s pretty simple…
I feel tons better after good sleep.
It helps that I set goals to do each day…to help me wake up early and therefore make me go to bed at a decent hour.
plus, pray for good sleep, above all else…
michelelisa is back... bwhahahaha... *ahem*
I’ve gone thru with it, and if anything, my habits are more healthy regarding sleep – im in bed with lights off for 8 hours a day.
i’m still tired, I still look tired. i think the cure to this would be regularity. my schedule is so over the place, and so when i go to rest, my body has a hard time resting.
Think i might take up mediation

and then that would be 3 weeks and hence a habit….. apparently.
I think my problem is my schedule. NOTHING about it is regular. and i mean that. its my job, its shift work, and that just screws with your life.
I have been, well, not getting 8 hours of sleep a night, however I am in bed with the lights off for that amount of time. And yet Im still so tired.
solutions – learn to meditate (calm myself down more… relax)
- get some regularity into my life….. thats the hard one.
I have always been dilligent about getting 8 hours; I don’t function without it. Last year there was a period where I wasn’t doing this, but I have certainly gone back to this routine.

So, Im commiting myself to getting a proper 8 hours of sleep a night for the next 3 weeks (and hopefully that will create a habit)
3 nights down, 2 weeks and 4 nights to go
