and hopped on board and I absolutely love it. I don’t know if its even possible without changing human nature i.e. the predisposition the (physically) strong to take advantage of the weak.

I just know that I’m tired of hearing all the news stories about missing women who turn up dead because of their ex or some random sicko. I hate not being able to go out to some places because of fear.

And then if, God forbid, something did happen, everyone would wonder why I was “dumb enough” to go out in the first place, like don’t I know better? I’m also tired of having my sexuality being the central defining factor of my existence…at least, according to advertising.

I believed in myself more when I was younger, before I started developing sexually and seeing the outlines of the box society wants to put me in. Before the boys’ hormones went wild and I learned that what I was like inside didn’t matter anymore to most of them. Before I started looking at my body through the eyes of others and not feeling at home in it any longer. 7 years ago
