ride the orient express

Done Amtrack all over US, and Via in Canada, The Orient Express is the train ride to top it all off. One, no two problems. I don’t like to fly; so the getting there would be hard, and then I think the cost ..which I have not checked on.. would be a bit up there. I am sure those Euros would be a Nogoes to me. Do you think if WE ALL go together, we could get a large Discount?

I think that everyone has heard of the Agatha Christie book “Murder on the Oriend Express”. I’m sure that this would be interesting and the scenery interesting.

Back in the day when I was an exchange student I rode the Orient Express between Vienna and Belgrade. It was not an easy passage since the express at that time did not have a dinning car. I remember sharing a cabin with a British student and his stunning girlfriend. She was so good looking I could not summon the courage to speak with her and my memories are of being hungry on multiple levels on that train.

i’m going to ride the train and read “Murder on the Orient Express” at the same time :)

I’ve always wanted to do this. It would be so cool!

I’m not sure whether I would want to do this in Europe or the newly opened Orient Express up to Machu Pichu in Peru. Either way, it does look like a classic luxurious way to travel and an unforgettable experience.
