cut my hair for locks of love

At the end of June, 2006 I cut my hair for Locks of Love. I donated 12 inches of my hair. I was hard to do at first but I feel so good knowing that I have put a smile on some ones face!

Man, I did this almost a year ago. It made me feel good that it could go to help someone. I like having my hair pretty long, so even though I didn’t like it being short, I felt really lucky that I could grow it back out again instead of having to have a wig. I think this is a great thing to do and would reccomend doing it to anyone that can!

...is pretty long. I could easily cut enough for Locks of Love and still have lots left over. Still, I feel slightly chicken about it.

as my hair is super super long, i have always said that if i ever cut my hair real short, or shave my head (something i have seriously considered) – i would donate it!

but this will have to wait till i want to cut my hair real short!
