so when I first saw them as a support act for The Beautiful South, I was really bewildered. And then completely swept away when they started their set.
The next day I went out and bought as many of their albums as I could find in HMV :)

i’ve seen them 6 times, but it will never be enough!
i love them so much. Especially Ed. i’ve named my computer, ipod and external after him. Lloyd, Edward and Elwyn (that’s his uncle)
LOL
I even met the fellas at some pre-concert radio meet thing my sister got me in to. I think I have an autographed dollar bill* in my ‘saved’ box, somewhere, that I vaguely recall promising to give to Gypsiewriter. Next place I move into I’ll fish it out and pass it on~
I like their music and they put on a great show.
I saw them live in ‘93. I don’t know if they still do the same stuff (I assume so), but the live stuff adds so much to their albums… loads of funny covers, mad skills, humour… a great show.
Last night (Monday, April 2nd) I saw Barenaked Ladies live at Manchester Apollo (Barenaked Ladies Are Me tour). Boothby Graffoe was the support act. Too bad I have a cold so I didn’t feel well, but the show was great!
I saw them recently in my city and they were fabulous! So funny and talented! I definitely have a little crush on Ed Robertson now, and Steve Page has the most incredible vocal range. If you ever get a chance to see them live, do NOT pass up the opportunity, they put on a fantastic show!
The only bad thing: they didn’t play “Call and Answer” which is my absolute favourite BNL song. Oh well.
loonlaugh is slowly working through the list.
Great concert, 7th row center, floor. UMass, Amherst (coincidentally one of my PhD considerations…) Awesome show, great band!
This evening before the NASCAR race, BNL performed for about an hour at Richmond International Raceway. The acoustics were far from perfect, but it was great to finally see the band live. I was disappointed that they encouraged everyone to “drop out of school as soon as possible,” but otherwise they were a fun band to watch.
