become a professional poker player

Went to Sherman Bowling Center’s Poker room tonight and played a cash game. Bought in for $80 at a $1/$1 table and cashed out for $220 in 3 hrs. Made a profit of $140 or an hourly profit of $46.67. Kind of an average night there.

I am going to get into the World Series of Poker by 2011. I do not have to play in the main event, but at least 2 tournaments in the series.

I am an aspiring professional poker player who loves the game. I have all the traits to take me to the top. I am patient, logical, great at mathmatics, excellent at reading people, and willing to take calculated risks.

I need to learn not to tilt.

The lesser I tilt, the easier my bankroll will grow, Right?

I am creating a personal website. One of the pages will track my BR.

Won the biggest tournament yet on full tilt. Out of 685 people I came in third & won seventy five dollars. Wish I came in 1st but its a good start. All I can do is keep practicing until I go to Vegas for my 21st birthday next year.

I have been playing online with fake money for a while and have done real well. Up to 300,000 at FTP online, but that doesnt mean anything. Played a couple of local free tournaments and have improved in the standings consistantly but that doesnt mean anything either. I just cannot bring myself to dropping real cash online, even if its just $50 i have no confidence that the account is safe.

its been a dream of mine to become a professional poker player love watchin the pros play on tv i’d love to have the opertunity to win a braclet for my wrist haha my favorite pro of course it is SCOTTY N. he brings something cool to the game i enjoy watchin him play it would be a dream come true to play in a tournament with him maybe one day it will 

I love the game, and I’m a consistent winner at the tables, but have never had the balls to just go at it full time.

Anyways, I just started playin around with fake money on online poker the other day, but I did way better then I expected I would. I know its fake money so I am not getting to over confident or anything. But it made me realize how much freedom a pro poker player has. I love the idea of being able to travel anywhere and still make money. Anyways its just a dream, but I seem to have a natural talent for the game. So I’ll be tryin my luck with real money pretty soon, and see where it goes from there. If i dont make enough to go pro, then maybe i will atleast make enough to buy a sweet new computer.
