I recently bought a book by Liz Prince called “Will You Still Love e If I Wet The Bed?” and still love reading it.
It’s an autobiographical comic about her relationship with her boyfriend. It’s sweet, and funny, and well… cuddly. Like you want to cuddle somebody while reading it.
I’m totally inspired, and I want to draw something like it, but planning to draw more pages.

A story based on a true story. A parable. A story that must be told in order for others to understand the inner struggle.

hey all!! i’ve just joined this webpage and it seems that the entries here are pretty ‘dead’? seeing that the latest one was almost a year ago…
is there any one still interested in drawing graphic novels?
i’d like to colloborate on a project. i love graphic novels and have always dreamed of making one.
i think the biggest problem for me is that a graphic novel entails too many skills, i guess i can’t write and draw at the same time, or think of a broad plot and minor details at the same time.
i have pretty good drawing skills and can pencil and ink my own work.
my writing skills are less good i guess. i always seem to get stuck, or lose fascination with a story quickly.
i’m interested in fantasy worlds (namely, elves, orcs, dragons etc) but like them to have a modern twist. i’m also interested in introducing oriental characters to the the genre that’s dominated mostly by Western-folklore archetypes.
but i’m flexible. i’m willing to explore any alernative-world-ish settings.
is anyone interested in colloborating with me? I’d like to illustrate for you, but this role can be negotiated further…
you can reply to me on ortega_mark99@hotmail.com
thank you.

My Buisness assosciate and i have this idea. we would like to see this idea realised on paper. It is a story of a grimey dark universe somewhere in the future(or past). Here is a short story that ive written about this.
“I dont really remeber, what it was like to just sit, and let the sun wash over my skin.
Metal, not quite like grass, and around me everything seems to be decaying, nuts, bolts, welds all slowly rotting away.
Its wierd how something so dead can be so alive, the engines humming away under my feet.
If there is electricity, on this floating piece of scrap, then it definetley choses were it wants to go. Most of the ship is bathed in a deep red glow of the “saftey” lights.
People die every other week, most of the time a pipe of atom melting plasma explodes unexpectadly into there being, or the lights that are on for “saftey” dont quite reveal a whole in the floor…....
Whatever i dont care, its good money. “
If anyone would like to illustrate this then we would be both be very gratefull.
thank you for your time.

P.S. we have a mountain of other ideas. dont hesitate to ask.

A couple weekends ago, I sat down and brainstormed ideas for hours, but nothing. I almost feel like the expiration date has passed for the ideas I was originally working on, which sucks, but I don’t want to force it. I wonder if I should just start anew and work on something more fresh. I don’t know. I’ll sit down and work on it again this weekend and see what comes up, but I’ll be open-minded about completely reworking what I have.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve taken this goal seriously, but I’d like to begin working in some graphic novel time at least for a short period every week. Last time I got stuck because the storyline became too complex, and I wanted to hit upon too many ideas. I need to streamline the ideas and try to take baby steps.
