- 21×9 – 21 because it’s my age, 9 because it’s my lucky number
- In various places – bathroom stalls, restaurant tables, library books, slipped into a purse, on desks, on lockers, on doors
- I’ll choose some favourite quotes, come up with my own, and leave a personal message that will (hopefully) make the person who finds it feels inspired, if not loved
- I’ll keep track of what I wrote on each post-it here
- Each one will be colourful and decorated
- I don’t know why I’ve not started on this goal yet because it really appeals to me. I’ll leave post-its across the world if I start soon, because I’ll be in three different countries in the next few months.

How I did it: So I just wrote five quotes into five different post-its and them I put the on the bus, walls and public telephones, you know, places I thought that were most likely to get some attention. Well, it was really nice posting nice quotes all over town. I really hope someone found them... but my goal is not finished yet, I will keep doing this because maybe, just maybe, I will make someone smile. And I like that thought! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Okay, so I started out with the loving post-its, looking up pretty quotes of the 'you have to love yourself' variety. But I soon got tired of that and stumbled across quotes I found far more entertaining. So now there is a post it hanging on a subway window saying 'Maybe this world is another world's hell' and a train seat with 'Time is a great pupil but unfortunately it kills all it's students.' Maybe they all end up in the bin, but I ju… Read how I did it…

It sounds like something so simple yet amazing to do.
on the day I started this. Then I put them in my purse. And mostly forgot about them. I’ve put a couple in places like Walmart, TJ Maxx etc. But only like 4-5 total. I’m a complete slacker.
Can’t wait to get started. I don’t know what to say though. Research needed.
taking the time to think about what can make a person smile with just a few words…. putting it in a random place where they will least expect it, catch them by surprise and give a hug to the soul in their own w0rld…. i’m going to take some time to think about this, as i’ve been feeling so down lately and it’s like i don’t know how to share the happiness any more – maybe i’ve been too wrapped up in myself??
i remember when i once received an origami butterfly through my letterbox with a random happy thought and an email address at the bottom… it was so thoughtful and made me smile, i sent an email to thank them and share the happiness right back. turns out the sender was writing a book and asked if my message could be included within it, which i happily agreed to.
it’s so wonderful to reach out and touch the spirit of the soul… and amaZing when that sparkle comes floating back to you to :)
I bought a Post-It pack and I wrote 5 different quotes. I plan on sticking them around the neighborhood tomorrow. It feels great! I want to do it every single day!

I just love the idea of this goal and am thinking hard as to where I can leave notes – at the moment all I can all I can think of is leaving notes in bathroom stalls!!
Yesterday I had some spare time so I went to the library, sat down, grabbed some paper and a pen and started writing. I alternated between German and English, unfortunately most quotes sound waaaay better in English… well, those were the ones I left among the books where I thought people reading them might understand them^^
I was surprised how easily one can walk around the library and leave notes everywhere….
On the train I remembered that I had forgotten my post-its, so I went to a bakery and asked for napkins when I had to change trains. Napkins are just as good as paper to write on, alright, not entirely true, they crumble.
Whenever I am writing these little notes with quotes I find inspiring I instantly feel better. It´s like I am partly writing them to myself.
whenever I return a book to the library, I am making sure now to put a post-it with in inspiring quote in (well, at least quotes that I find inspiring^^) when I take the train today I think I am going to leave some in the restrooms and maybe on the train schedules…. I´ll see how many I get done before I gotta leave =)
But simply thinking about this goal makes me grin =D
Christopher Leitch is working on his PostSecret post card design
I’m trying out an experiment. I will be writing out a whole stack of post-it notes with inspirational quotes/messages/uplifting words and on the bottom of all of them I’ll leave an e-mail address: post.it.messages@gmail.com, with the words “Want to talk?” or “Need to talk?” or “How did this make you feel?” on the bottom of them.
I want to see how many people will respond. It would be of great help if you could all write something like that on the bottom of your post-it note with that message and e-mail. The e-mail is, again, post.it.messages@gmail.com
Thanks!
