How I did it: A friend and I were always obsessed with sharpies and post it notes, so we went out on one spontaneous friday and walked all over the neighborhood barefoot putting up post it notes on whatever was around. We put them on trees, telephone poles, fences, playground equipment, and even the sidewalk. We had so much fun knowing that somebody would be walking and see a note and say, 'Hey, that must be for me.' And would walk on a little or a lot… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I took some of my old colourful post-its (which I would have NEVER used otherwise, asides from book note taking) and wrote any little happy diddy, quote, limerick, phrase etc. that came to mind. When I ran out of ideas of my own, I googled it. :D Tons of quotes popped up. My only complaint is that I'm on a schedule and couldn't make more. Then I proceeded to sneak around the dormitory (we have 5 floors so there was… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I bought a stack of post-its and using different colored felt pens, in BIG bold letters i started writing some inspirational quotes i found surfing on web and some of my personal favourites. I also wrote some cheesy lines that can make almost anyone happy such as "you are beautiful" "someone is thinking of you" "you make me happy whether you know it or not" "i love you" "bored at work?..how about call some… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Random positive thoughts, inspirational quotes and bits of my favorite poems. I had a little extra fun with the pack of markers I'd just bought. Read how I did it…

I totally love the idea of this! I’m going to create post-its with cute messages written on them, such as ‘you look lovely today’ or ‘your smile is beautiful’ and leave them in random places. I think this might make me smile more than the people who find them!!
If you remix a remix, does it go back to normal?
Batteries are the most dramatic objects. Other things stop working or they break, but batteries… they die.
“Sort of” is a harmless thing to say. “Sort of”, it’s just a filler, it doesn’t really mean anything. But after certain things, “Sort of” means everything… Like after:
“I love you” or “you’re going to live”, or… “It’s a boy!”
First, I want to leave a post it somewhere where I can wait and see who goes up to it… because the post it wil say:
“I’m standing right behind you…” HAHAHAHAHA
And I’m still debating whether or not I should be there, because if I am, that’s just creepy, and if I’m not, I get to see their confused reaction and it would be one of those ”...What the hell?” moments that will break the monotony of daily life and might make them laugh a little.
So in a way… this is sort of a loving message.
My friend Missy & I went out to eat the other day. At the restaurant, we put post-its in the menus, on the wall, and in the bathroom. They said things like “You are amazing” “Some Bunny Loves You!” “You are Fabulous” “The food here is delicious!”
Then we went to the local Starbucks, and put post-its on the tables & walls, & stuck into books. Some of them had similar phrases from above, some just had happy pictures.
kellgo sick today..... ugh :(
I just had a thought that I could do this at work, I haven’t done it in forever and it would be easy to do at work.

i wasn’t very inspired—they all said the same thing: “you can do it!” and i left them all in self-help books.

left another magnet and post-it at the library today. it occurred to me that by signed it ‘love, Me’, people might thing it was intended for someone in particular. Who knows?
