This can’t be the most important thing for em to do at the moment, therefore, I’m giving up on it for now. Maybe I’ll get one when I’m in my midtwenties.

We had some Crate and Barrel giftcards, so we went to the website just now and ordered some stuff, a waffle maker among them. Kind of like a Xmas present to ourselves. :)
The Bridge Fairy is estatically happy it's Friday!
Belgian waffles are a reason to live until Saturday morning!
I think the best party I ever gave was a drop-in potluck breakfast. I made a gallon of pancake batter and had all the trimmings: strawberries, confectioners sugar, maple syrup, etc. Plus had juice, milk, cereals, jams and coffee. Had eggs and bread and cheese grits of course. Everyone brought fruit, ham biscuits and every other imaginable breakfast item. It was a Sunday so some people came before church and some after. Some people came and stayed 3-4 hours. It went from 8AM until about 2. We sat around and talked and drank coffee and visited. Whenever anyone came in I’d make them a waffle or cook them an egg if they wanted. The kids played. The grownups chilled. It was a really good time.
I need to do that again, real soon!
Waffles and French Toast are two of my favorite foods in the world. I love my waffle maker. I’ve gone through three of them because they keep breaking from overuse.
So there are actually people that don’t own one now??? Crazy! Next you will tell me you don’t own a George Foreman Grill!
