I just put a calendar up on my wall dedicated to recording the times I workout.
I also set a goal to do a ski race this winter so that is helping motivate my workouts.
So far, so good. In January I met this goal. I even put gold stars on my calendar whenever I exercise.
30 minutes of cardio, either on a treadmill or elliptical machine. And damn, it feels good. I have NEVER regretted a workout—plus, it’s only 30 minutes of my life. Time well spent, I think.
To meet this goal, I designate times for exercising every week. It’s at the top of my to-do list. If my motivation wanes, I remind myself how good I feel after exercise. My plan is to keep this up indefinitely. Seeing all those gold stars helps!!!
