own a sewing machine

Woo Hoo! I own a sewing machine.

I have yet to use said item, but I blame wedding planning for this. I hope after the wedding, I can finally try sewing something.

I’m used to hand sewing everything, so this should be an exciting challenge.

I like the idea of having a sewing machine at my disposal to make clothing and crafts.

I want to start out with a basic Brothers XL 2610 machine. I have read that serious sewers tend to own more than one machine. For the time, one is enough. Eventually, I would want to own an old school metal machine.

Not only would I like to own a sewing maching, I’d like to be able to use it. It’d be really cool if I could design (& sew) my own clothes!
