I wanna come home!
Every time I go to sleep I wake up with fond memories of my simple life back at home.
I live in the U.s and all the material things in life become your vice that makes less sense the longer you are away.South Africans are bonded by struggle an awarness of reality and what really matters in this life of ours a sense of belonging.I plan to go back where I was born and where I will die. This is where God put you for a reason. I’m going back the consequences of me not going back are greater than me staying where I’m miserable.Peace and love to all my fellow South Africans.

I was born in South Africa and moved here about 8 years ago. I went back to visit family about 3 years ago and loved it. I’m glad I live here but would love to visit more often.

I went back to South Africa for the first time in 13 years a few Winters ago. I met all these second cousins I hadn’t seen since I was two! Everything was so beautiful and we arrived just after an amazing rainstorm so the hills were alive with greenery. I swam with penguins (Penguins in South Africa?! I know!) and bought the best pair of pants I’ve ever owned. Also: there are huge signs on the roads (Similar to XING AHEAD) which say “NO HOOTING.” I look forward to swimming those waters again.
I landed for my first and (thus far) only trip to South Arica as the sun was rising and couldnt fight back the tears. For the first time in my life I felt as if I was home. 20 days passed by so quickly and I look back on each memory and photograph with an intense longing to return.
I have many places to see and experience b4 I will return to somewhere I have already been… but South Africa is my one REAL home.
