I am tired of going to work every day and not getting things acomplished. I want to stay focused and be more efficient at work so that I can spend less time there. I tend to get to work and mess around for at least 1/2 and hour in the morning and various times throughout the day. I want to be able to stay focused so that I can get things done, so that I can go home to see my baby.

I have decided to actualy make my time count at work. I work with my hubby (just the two of us, he’s a solicitor and I’m the practice manager) so I have flexibility.
The only net surfing I’m going to do is to blog here, during lunch / break times and I’ll occasionally check out the paper online.
Yesterday I had the office to myself as hubby was in Sydney. Normally I would be quite slack and go slow, or surf the net. Instead I got through tonnes of work that I’d been putting off and felt great for it.
The more efficient I am at my job the less overtime I will need to do. I am making improvements all the time but its a pretty slow process because I am quite busy.
