get a master's

I applied to the MFA program at Ohio State last December, and I just found out that I didn’t get in. Boo!
I probably won’t apply next year. I’m going to wait till we’re ready to move, then apply to a bunch of great programs, then move to where I get accepted.

I want to get my masters degree in Library Science, since I work at a university. For the first time, I was unqualified for the job (oddly the job I have) because of a lack of a degree.

Well, that’s the good news. The bad news is I can’t afford it at the moment if I want to have a place of my own in the next few years.

Another alternative is Master of Science (Digital Media Tech) with NTU. See http://www.ntu.edu.sg/sce/msc-digitalmedia.asp
Since it is heavily subsidised, I only have to pay SGD4000 for the entire course.

That just sound like I’m taking a master for the sake of taking it…..

I want to complete a masters in an area of education that will give me enough breadth to see the “big picture” behind the driving forces of 21st Century Education while providing enough depth to be a change agent.

Got an offer from one of the universities I applied to. It’s University Of Essex(Economics). Kinda like it, getting closer, I’m still expecting an offer from one institution in Canada. Does anyone know how good Essex is?

I really don’t like the job I’m doing right now,it’s boring even though well paying. I prefer to work as an economist, either as a researcher or as a professional economist(especially in an international/multilateral organization). To achieve this, I have decided to start with an admission into a masters degree program and then proceed to a Phd. I have started applying to universities in the UK and Canada. I hope this comes through.

The master’s writing program at the University of Sydney is HORRIBLE! Unfortunately, I couldn’t have known this without going, so I lost a lot of money in the process, but that is still better than losing more money over the next year of the course.
I’m going to move this goal closer to the bottom of my list because if I do try for my master’s again, it won’t be for a while.

I’m starting to study for the LSAT. Baby steps to getting this goal completed.

Just got accepted into the EE master’s program at RPI.

I got accepted to the University of Sydney tonight, and I accepted! Whoo hoo! Now Aaron and I can go to the same school.
So exciting!
