I paint my nails every week and make sure they are perfect and the best colours! ;D
How to paint my nails every week
It made me 
"A little bit time consuming (what with all the painting and the drying and all), but worth it. I felt more together somehow."
How I did it: Base coat first (clear, always), then color (this can be one or two coats), and finally top coat (clear as well). Let them dry completely before you do anything with your hands. It's so easy to screw up wet nails.
Lessons & tips: Put a little bit of vaseline on the skin around your nails and on your cuticles so that if you get any nails polish in those areas you can just wait until your nails are dry and wipe the vaseline off along with the extra polish. No need to dip q-tips in nail polish remover anymore!
Resources: Dark Purple is my signature so I spent a buncha money on a reeeeally good one. Run to the beauty supply store for any other colors but your "signature" (if you choose to have one). They sell pro-grade stuff at affordable prices.

And I should take care of them!!!!
I naturally have strong long nails… must be the native blood in me.
:) But I rarely paint them, or file them and I am perfectly capable of doing so I just seem to be to lazy sigh
I’m ready to make this change though…it’s little… just an hour a week of me time for my hands and feet :p
And I bet it lifts my confidence just a lil’ bit too!

I have been trying to keep my nails painted and have been doing pretty good at it. My nails used to be flat because I used to bite them down to the finger and now they are starting to be a more curved normal looking nail

well now I’m working as a receptionist so I have heaps of time to just sit here, getting paid to paint my nails. :D

I just bought a French Tip nail pen...I love it! It’s so much easier and faster. I can give myself a manicure in ten minutes—base coat, white tips, and a top coat. Awesome. Even if it chips, the pen makes it so easy to touch up. I’m getting my mom one because I know she’ll love it! :)
