I decided Tuesday night that I am not only going to study for the LSAT, I am going to take it, ace the bloody thing, and off to law school in fall 2009. I took the full length sample test and only scored 153, so I’ve got a long road ahead of me (although, in my defense, it was late in the evening, at the end of a workday, when I took the test, and the other occupants of the house weren’t grasping the concept of, “shut the hell up and leave me the frick ALONE for the next couple hours!”)

I’ve checked out several books from the library, will be ordering some more books directly from LSAC, and am signing up for six-week course at the local college that runs late August through October 1. I’ll take the test October 4, take it again in December if necessary, and start submitting applications in January 2009. I’m excited and scared shitless all at the same time.

Getting Ready for Sep/Oct 2008 17 months ago

Am I starting early….yes, but I need to make sure I score at least in the mid 160s to try to get scholarship money.

I’ve got a ton of materials and old LSATs… We’ll see how that goes.

LSAT 23 months ago

I need to take my LSAT this June in order for next year law school admission. Studying for this test has been one of those things looming over my head just because it is such an extensive, and time consuming process.

this is less fun 2 years ago

than I originally thought it would be

I write the Lsat in december…if I get a decent score I may apply to law school for the sept ‘08 semester. logic logic logic, blah.
maybe one day I will be a law-talking furball.

designating time 3 years ago

I have the LSAT book, I just need to designate I time to work on it. Maybe Friday afternoons, after class and before the gym. I’m not taking the actual LSAT for at least a year, but I do need to get motivated and start studying.

this one's easier said than done 3 years ago

probably because i don’t want to go to law school. if i have to go to grad school, why not b school instead?

The LSAT blows but... 3 years ago

It is just something you have to do. I’m not happy about my first score (I didn’t study for it).

I need to get a 165+ if I’m going to get into a local law school here in Portland.

Not sure if I want to go but should get this test out of the way so I can make a better decision.
