How to get my surgery over with

 "It wasn't the most pleasant, but it was nowhere near as awful as I'd built it up to be in my head-- and now, of course, I feel better!"
How I did it: I found a provider my insurance covered using their website and took the first step just to get a consultation. They do this a lot so it was easy peasy from there on out. The office practically does the rest for you. Lessons & tips: If you have to get things done, do them right away. With most things, the longer you wait, the more complicated the whole thing gets. On the other hand, the sooner you do it, the sooner you can start feeling better. |

That very same day I was up walking, Sure it hurt when I moved too fast or something but it's a surgery, it has to hurt. But I'm just glad that everything went well and smooth. my mom called today to tell me that my brother the doctor is worried about me and my shoulder. He’s afraid that putting off the surgery till I’m done nursing might make the surgery ineffective.
Three cheers for a life of back and shoulder pain. My response was that I likely got the injury over six years ago now and six more months probably won’t be the deciding factor. Your turn: How stupid am I now?
