How I did it: I was very reluctant to do my Christmas shopping alone. So I grabbed my best friend, and we tackled my Christmas list together. I got a few things for my boyfriend and his parents, but for the rest of his family my boyfriend just put both our names on presents that he got for his family. I was pretty thankful for this since I'm already on a tight budget being an unemployed college student and all.
As far as my side of the family, a lot of them don't celebrate Christmas, so I just spent a few days hanging out with them.
Lessons & tips: I started my Christmas list early. I wrote down everyone that I was getting a present for in November, and started listening for hints of things that they wanted/needed. Then I'd write it down in my little notebook so when shopping time came, I had an idea of what to get everyone.

I am glad this is all over for this year. I have been christmas shopping last weekend and go the last few things on the lists. Now its all about getting everything organised for the big day. I dont even really celebrate christmas but my wife makes a big deal so I do things for her.

I have tried so many times to do this but its just too hard. I even have a list but its still just too hard. I am gonna make my self start this weekend. Thats if I dont go rock climbing. If i do start this weekend. then I hope that I can do it all and get it all over and done with. Ive had enough.

56 Holiday cards sent out, 20+ gifts bought and all but 1 wrapped (I’m trying to figure out how to wrap a large wooden salad bowl?). I so enjoy giving presents, I wish I could just give random people presents everyday, but then people might think me a little odd :).
