I grew up in the country but of course had to move into the city for college. I’ve been here for about two years and can’t wait to leave.
After I finish school and am actually earning money full-time, I’ll start saving for my house. I want to buy a few acres – maybe near my parents, maybe not – and either build or buy a small house.
the countryside

i dont know why, but it seems that the countryside is where everyone wants to be, especially me! ive always been a city gal, really enjoy the sounds and movement, but something is calling me to get that small peice of “quiet”. even if we have to live in a shack for a few years, (which is most likely)my partner and i are determined to become “lifestylers’ We hope to buy a peice of land in the next 3 years, but if we find the perfect one, we will do whatever it takes to own it.
We just heard a whisper that a friend of his family is thinking about selling a chunk of land – and its just where we want to be, and it has its own stream, and i think a little bis of native bush, and a view…perfect! I just dont want to see it incase we have to have it!!!!
I guess the building part will take a while, but as i said, most probably will bhave to live in a garage for a few years!
