If you have a basic knowledge of CSS you can make a Xanga layout. They’re pretty easy to do. I just kind of taught myself. Just look around at other people’s layouts you like and look at the code. See what works and what doesn’t. 5 years ago

I used to have a xanga layout site. I think it is fun to make layouts. It is time consuming, but once I got the hang of it I could make a cute on in 5-10 minutes. html is hard at first, but eventually it comes natural. Xanga kind of got boring and I was becoming so addicted. So I decided to quit. It’s neat learning all of the technology. 6 years ago

Well, you can make the layouts exactlyy how you want them to look, which is what I always wanted to do. Though, html can be a pain in the ass & it gets pretty annoying when one little tiny piece won’t change. I’ve stopped using xanga, so I don’t do it anymore. 6 years ago

It is too time consuming if you don’t already know about html. It’s better just tofind a premade one that is as close as possible to what you are looking for and stick with that. 6 years ago

then you can make exactly what you want.

although being a perfectionist, making exactly what i want with html can be somewhat time consuming..
