i joined postcrossing about a month ago and love it.
It is exciting not knowing what will turn up in your mailbox. I find it fun looking for postcards to send as well.
I received a wonderful black and white from Richard in Indiapolis. Love this to bits.
My postcard to Erak is Estonia has arrived. Yippie! Posting one historic black and white photo of Campbell Street in Penang to Jenny in the States.
I was so excited beyond words yesterday. I received my first postcard from someone in Finland. This will be one very special postcard. I will start to hunt for albums that I can keep my postcards in. I’ve sent all in all 8 postcards now and 3 have returned. I wish they all would return soon so I could send some more to the world.

I mailed out my second post card today, this one is heading for Portugal.
The post card is a photo of the Swann Fountain in Center City, Philadelphia.
from the card:
Swann Fountain, Logan Square is the northwesternmost of four original town squares. It turned into a circle in the 1920’s and a fountain with three Native Americans representing the three major waterways (Delaware, Schuylkill, and Wissahickon rivers) was constructed. It is the work of Alexander Sterling Calder.
