catch up

2 weeks left till the deadline.. still, a lot of work to do with my projects!
I will not fail..no,no way!

No.

Have I made progress?

Yes.

Although all the notes I took on the last chapter have been lost – my own fault. Many hours of work gone and more hours whilst B tried unsuccessfully (but very kindly) to restore them for me. Plus another day lost whilst I recovered my equilibrium.

But…. They’re gone – move on.

I’m just starting to think that maybe I’m going to have to skip some stuff if I want to catch up. At present I’m still resisting that suggestion, but the seed has been planted. Little voices whispering in my ear …

I ducked out of going to the tutorial today and used the time for more study instead.

I’m just over a week behind now so I have made up ground. I got the assignment in on time AND have a good mark for it. I’m also making up the lost ground thoroughly; I so love this course and i want to do it properly. So it’s taking a while longer to catch up than I would have liked but c’est la vie. I’ll get there :)

... a number of years of study. Actually this is week 6 of 34 which will constitute 60 points that can be used towards 2 qualifications I plan to acquire: one requires 240 points, the other 360. So there is some way to go (although I do have advanced standing on the larger one).

So I’m on week 6 and I’m already 2 and a half weeks behind. It doesn’t sound much I know but actually it’s quite a lot. I already have a degree with the OU; I feel that I skated across the surface of everything just trying to keep pace. This time I want to do it (and me) justice.

So I want to catch up.

I have goals to acquire the degrees/qualifications. But they are big goals. I made a separate one for the first assignment and I’ll probably resurrect it when the next assignment is due.

And now I’m making another mini-goal while I’m playing catch-up. I expect I’ll need to use this one more than once too, but that’s okay.

I’m hoping to be back up to speed by Nov 21st – my next tutorial.

whatever. I’ll catch up if I’m meant to catch up.

Still so much behind with a lot of stuff, sigh.
Must find a reasonable solution to all this.

I’m starting to catch up on at least some of my things, but still I have a long way to go. I wish I could just pause everything for a moment :)

But things keep happening, life keeps whizzing past too fast. I turn around from making leaps in one direction to find I’ve fallen behind in another. I could really use a magic pause button for a week or three.
