Since I have been sick or with other sick relatives for most of July and August, I haven’t had time to do this. But I need to get in better shape and feel more energetic than I have so far so I have started once again. I really like doing it, it is just a matter of putting down the mat and get onto it… My discipline sucks but I will do what I can!

I went for my first pilates class last Monday. Ohmygosh. It was a sheer torture. But my body felt really, really good and I discovered muscles I never knew existed. All after one session.
I’m going to make this a habit, for sure.

soviette is feeling less productive back in the blackhole that is albuquerque
My sister is having me take a class with her this summer at the local uni – she’s been taking a pilates class since the fall.
I’m so out of shape, so I’m scared but she (my sister) keeps promising me a flat tummy. ;)
I bought the yoga mat and we start next week (depending on the teacher, if she’ll let me weasel into the class for free…)!

Very tiny step for humainty, big step for me! I started with an hour session again and it went pretty well, although I expect to be very sore tomorrow. In any case I have made an agreement with myself to do this one at least 3 times a week and the short 20 minute one 2 times. So 5 times a week for the next 3,5 weeks should at least give me a basis and then I can continue in second half of June and summer to get ready by September. Sounds like a good plan, now I only have to stick with it!It is about time I use that mat I bought last year! ;-)

later today! I have fallen off the wagon again, but now it’s time to get back on! I need to get in some kind of shape before the fall ‘no time to breath’ training season starts! So NOW is the time to do it!

Finished week 2. Actually, It was only really 4 days of exercise… drinking kinds cut out the 5th day. And I ate a tonne of crap last night, but since I danced my ass till 5am, I think it was fair enough.
This week i’m going to try to make it to 5 days of yoga and pilates and maybe add some jogging or dancing for CV.

I started on Monday doing 1 hour of toga and pilates in the mornings before work. Nothing too intense, just a few exercises and stretches. My ass feels great. I dunno how long I can keep this up, but i’m gonna try to keep it as a weekday thing. Weekends are for binge drinking and whatnot.

Good posture, rock hard abs, core strength, flexibility and more. I’ve already started, now I need to keep it up! Three times a week!
