ernielove is enjoying a state of love
starting this weekend, I’m going to start using the program I bought to start learning French. My goal is to learn pronunciation, vocabulary and start conversing to prepare for moving abroad.
beckra just returned from Maui...wow, such beauty and FUN!!
After spending time in Africa, I realized that I totally want to go back. Since most people speak French, my goal is to be conversationally fluent by next January!
These are a few of the things I’m going to do in order to accomplish this:
*Use the book “French in 10 minutes a day”
*Post vocabulary stickers on items around the house
*Practice French with those who went on the Mali mission trip, as well as anyone else who will endure it!
Also, I’m going to ask my friend Sandy if she wants to get together once a week to practice French using the Rosetta Stone.
It’s hard to get started now, because the doubts are surfacing. However, I’m not going to let doubt set in! I’m going for this, and letting God take care of closing any doors that He deems necessary!
Ooooh la la indeed!
I (finally) joined an Alliance Francaise! I began classes last week. So far, so good!
I’m going to France for two months this fall to work. I need to learn conversational French and fast! I took French for two years in High School but I remember very little.
I bought a book with a cd today and some flashcards. Hopefully it won’t take be too long to get the basics back and then I can perhaps understand some French programs.
but considering I can’t even hold a conversation in French, I’ll start here first.
I have brought a pack which theortically enables me to learn french, however, i must set aside time in the day to concentrate on it. Bonjour and Au revoir.
